No question of joining hands with Engineer Rashid: Ravinder Raina ‘We are winning Karnah, Gurez Assembly seats’

Srinagar, Sep 12 (KINS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader, Ravinder Raina, confidently stated that the party is set to win the “Karnah and Gurez assembly seats in the upcoming elections”.
Speaking at the Panchayat AajTak event in Dal Lake, Srinagar, Raina emphasized that the BJP will form the government with a full majority.
“The next Chief Minister will be from the BJP. There is no question of joining hands with Engineer Rashid ,” Raina said.
He highlighted the peace and development brought to the region under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and dismissed allegations of BJP backing proxy candidates.
“We are strong in Jammu, and now, we are equally strong in Kashmir. We will win elections in both regions. Karnah and Gurez are in our grasp,” Raina declared.
He highlighted the transformation seen under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, particularly in Kashmir. “The peace and development that the Prime Minister has restored in Jammu and Kashmir is unparalleled. Stone-pelting and gun violence are things of the past, and the atmosphere is one of hope and prosperity,” he added.
On the topic of proxy candidates, Raina dismissed the allegations, saying, “If any independent is contesting the election, it is their constitutional right. How can that be termed as BJP’s proxy? This is propaganda from NC, Congress, and PDP, who are losing ground in Kashmir.”
Raina also spoke about the BJP’s growing presence in Kashmir, with a focus on the upcoming elections in other crucial constituencies. “In Habakadal and Anantnag West, we expect very interesting contests. The people of Kashmir love our party. They see the work that BJP has done for peace and progress.”
He further mentioned, “BJP is now the largest political party in Jammu and Kashmir, with over 15 lakh primary members. We have given tickets to Muslim candidates in Kashmir, as well as in other areas of the Union Territory”.(KINS)
