Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo launches second edition of Cycle race in Sgr featuring ‘local, National & International cyclists’

Srinagar, Oct 10 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, officially launched the second edition of a prestigious cycle race on Thursday in Srinagar, attracting scores of participants from across India and some international cyclists.
The event aims to promote tourism, adventure sports, and a healthy lifestyle in the Union Territory.
Cyclists of all ages and skill levels gathered to showcase their endurance and enthusiasm for cycling
Atal Duloo emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing the visibility of Jammu and Kashmir as a tourism destination. “This cycle race not only promotes fitness but also highlights the natural beauty and hospitality of our region,” he stated during the flag-off ceremony, as per news agency KINS.
“We are committed to providing a platform for athletes and promoting a spirit of adventure.”
Participants expressed excitement about the race, noting the vibrant atmosphere and the opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes of Jammu and Kashmir. Many international cyclists remarked on the warm reception they received and the region’s potential for hosting more sporting events.
