BJP J&k commemorates accession day in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 26 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked Accession Day with a solemn ceremony at the party’s headquarters in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.
In a statement issued to news agency KIND BJP said, “The event gathered party members, senior leaders, and citizens, reflecting on the historical importance of this day in Jammu and Kashmir’s journey.
BJP General Secretary (Org) for Jammu and Kashmir, Ashok Koul, led the commemoration, stressing the importance of Accession Day as a symbol of the Union Territory’s enduring commitment to India’s unity and integrity”.
“Koul spoke of Maharaja Hari Singh’s pivotal decision to accede to India in 1947, a move he described as fundamental to the region’s legacy. He further affirmed the BJP’s dedication to upholding Jammu and Kashmir’s cultural heritage and historical roots within the Indian Union”.
“The gathering resonated with a shared vision for a united and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir, as party members pledged to work towards strengthening the region’s integration within India. Patriotic speeches celebrated the contributions of Jammu and Kashmir’s people to the country’s democratic framework, honoring their role in India’s growth and unity”.(KINS)
