Cabinet Minister Javid Dar & MLA Dr. Sajad Shafi Visit Boniyar to console families of fallen Army porters in Butapathri terror attack

Srinagar, Oct 26 (KINS): Cabinet Minister Javid Ahmed Dar, alongside MLA Uri Dr. Sajad Shafi, visited the Boniyar in Baramulla district to meet and offer condolences to the families of two local Army porters who tragically lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Butapathri.

The Minister and MLA offered words of support and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, acknowledging the sacrifices made by these civilians in their vital roles assisting the Army. They pledged continued government support and reassured the families that their service would not be forgotten.

In a previous show of compassion and assistance, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Baramulla had visited these families, delivering financial aid on behalf of the government, as directed by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The financial assistance, aimed at easing the immediate needs of the affected families, came as part of a broader commitment by the LG to provide relief and assistance to those impacted by terror attacks.(KINS)
