‘Enemies of peace can’t digest local Govt’s success,’ Says Minister Javaid Dar on Botapathri Terrorist attack

KINS DESK

Srinagar, Oct 26 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Minister Javaid Dar Saturday condemned the recent terrorist attack in Botapathri Baramulla on Indian Army, describing it as an “unfortunate incident” and reaffirming the government’s commitment to tracking down those responsible.
Speaking to reporters as per news agency KINS, Dar emphasized that the “attack was an attempt to destabilize the local government and hinder efforts to address the concerns of the people”.
“These are the people who are enemies of peace and those who cannot digest that local people have participated in the elections and formed the government here,” Javed Dar stated.
He stressed that those behind these attacks are against the “progress made through democratic participation and are determined to create unrest in the Union Territory”.
In a show of solidarity with the victims, Minister Dar, accompanied by MLA Uri, visited the families of army porters who lost their lives in the attack.
Security forces have since ramped up security and initiated a thorough investigation to bring those responsible for the attack to justice. (KINS)
