Solve problems of common people instead raising controversial issues: BJP to CM Omar

KINS Desk
Srinagar, Oct 28 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina has asked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to focus on resolving issues affecting the common people, rather than raising controversial issues.
“I hope Omar Abdullah will work in coordination with the Centre for the progress of J&K. His government should focus on resolving issues affecting the common masses rather than seeking immediate restoration of statehood and raising controversial issues like Article 370,” Raina said, according to news agency KINS.
He said that there are several issues, such as daily wagers, that the Omar Abdullah government should prioritize.
The BJP leader also said the party’s encouraging performance in the recent elections. “We came close to winning three seats in Kashmir. The BJP received 1.26 lakh votes from Kashmir. We made an effort but could not secure any seat in Kashmir. From Jammu, we won 29 seats and achieved the highest vote share,” Raina added. (KINS)
