BJP deploys MLAs across J&K to strengthen grassroots engagement, hold public Darbars, address Public grievances

KINS DESK

Srinagar, Dec 06 (KINS): In a significant move aimed at enhancing public engagement and resolving grievances at the grassroots level, the BJP has finalized the deployment of its MLAs across assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir to listen to the people’s grievances during public Darbars and to increase party’s outreach across J&K.

BJP sources told news agency KINS that the party will host regular public darbars at its headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, starting December 16. Similar Darbars will be held in Kashmir also.

These measures were finalized during a high-level meeting chaired by BJP President Sat Sharma and attended by senior party leaders, including General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma and former ministers Dr. Devinder Manyal and Adv. Vibodh Gupta.

MLA Deployment in Constituencies: BJP MLAs have been assigned specific assembly constituencies to ensure a consistent presence and direct interaction with both party workers and the general public.

Each MLA will spend at least one day per month in their designated constituency to listen to grievances, resolve local issues, and extend support to the public.

This initiative ensures that all regions, including remote and conflict-prone areas like Banihal, Poonch, and South Kashmir, receive attention from the party leadership.

To make the party more accessible, a dedicated schedule of public grievance redressal sessions has been announced at the BJP office in Jammu.

Senior leaders will be available on specific days of the week to directly interact with the public.

The schedule includes: Monday: Sham Lal Sharma and Mohan Lal Bhagat

Tuesday:. Surjit Singh Salathia, Dr. Devinder Manyal and Prof. Garu Ram Bhagat

Wednesday: Dr. Narinder Singh, Ch. Vikram Randhawa and Sh. Balwant Singh Mankotia

Thursday: . Chander Prakash Ganga, Dr. Devinder Manyal and  Arvind Gupta

Friday: Sunil Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi and  Surinder Bhagat

The BJP’s decision to deploy MLAs in constituencies and host regular public darbars underscores the party’s commitment to connecting with the public and addressing their concerns effectively.

By ensuring MLAs visit their constituencies regularly, the party aims to create a direct communication channel for resolving local issues.

With leaders assigned to North, Central and South Kashmir constituencies, the initiative also stressed on addressing concerns in politically and socially sensitive areas.

The BJP views this outreach effort as a step toward strengthening its organizational structure and governance model in Jammu and Kashmir. “By prioritizing grassroots issues and public grievances, the party hopes to reinforce its commitment to serving the people while boosting its political presence in J&K,” a party source said.( KINS)
