LG Manoj Sinha chairs 73rd meeting of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board launches several initiatives to enhance pilgrim services

Srinagar, Dec 18 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, chaired the 73rd meeting of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board today, focusing on key strategies to augment services for pilgrims and ensure the smooth functioning of the Board.
During the meeting, LG Sinha ,emphasized the importance of enhancing the overall experience for devotees while ensuring efficient management of the pilgrimage infrastructure.
In this regard, the meeting saw the launch of several initiatives aimed at streamlining services, improving accessibility, and ensuring a hassle-free journey for the millions of devotees who visit the shrine each year.
LG Sinha outlined measures to improve facilities at various points along the pilgrimage route and ensure better crowd management.
The Board is also set to introduce innovative technologies to make the pilgrimage more convenient and divine for devotees. Additionally, a special focus was placed on upgrading amenities, such as rest areas, health facilities, and safety protocols, ensuring that the experience is both spiritually enriching and comfortable.
The Lieutenant Governor also discussed future plans to expand and modernize the shrine’s infrastructure, while maintaining the sanctity and religious significance of the shrine.(KINS)
