Srinagar, Dec 28 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today drove to Ganderbal district to assess the ground connectivity and inspect the progress of snow clearance efforts following recent snowfall.
News gathering agency KINS reported that during his visit, Omar Abdullah stayed at the Ganderbal Deputy Commissioner’s office, where he held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner to discuss the district’s progress and ongoing challenges.
In addition, he connected with senior officials, including the Divisional Commissioner, via video conferencing to review the status of various development projects and ensure their effective implementation despite the weather disruptions.

One of the key stops on his visit was the Ganderbal hospital, where Omar Abdullah conducted an on-site inspection to review patient care, available medical facilities, the status of medical equipment, and the presence of doctors. This visit was particularly crucial given the current adverse weather conditions, which could pose additional challenges for healthcare services.
The Chief Minister expressed his commitment to ensuring the timely completion of development projects and the well-being of residents, especially in the face of ongoing harsh weather conditions.(KINS)
