Commissioner SMC reviews preparedness of field units

SRINAGAR, Dec 31 (KINS): In a proactive step to prepare for any weather changes in the coming days, Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed, convened a review meeting with concerned officials here.
The meeting focused on strategies to ensure public safety and minimize disruptions during the expected weather conditions. The Commissioner emphasized the importance of preparedness and collaboration among various departments within the SMC. “As we brace for significant snowfall, it is essential that we are ready to face any challenges that may arise,” he stated. “Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of our residents and the smooth operation of essential services.”
The meeting covered several key areas, including snow removal strategies, emergency response protocols, and effective public communication plans. Officials were urged to remain alert and responsive, with measures in place to swiftly address any issues that may arise as the weather conditions change.(KINS)
