Srinagar, March 8 (KINS): A comprehensive awareness session on the newly introduced criminal laws was conducted at Marriage Hall, Nallabandpora, Chatabal, under the chairmanship of DIG CKR Shri Rajiv Pandey-IPS. The event saw active participation from locals, including members of the Coordination Committee, Intizamia Committee, students, and government employees.
Addressing public concerns, DIG CKR resolved several issues on the spot while providing a detailed overview of the new criminal laws designed to address modern challenges. He emphasized that these laws focus on public welfare and safety, commending the enthusiastic participation of the community as a reflection of their trust in the police. He reaffirmed J&K Police’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the region and strengthening community relations.
Accompanying him were SP North Shri Showkat Ahmad Dar, SDPO MR Gunj Shri Junaid Wali, and other senior officers, who provided in-depth presentations on the progressive features of the new legislation.
