Tragedy on Jammu-Pathankot Highway: Two youth killed in collision with Oil Tanker

Samba, Apr 20 (KINS): Two young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Jammu-Pathankot highway in Samba district late last night.

The victims were returning from a marriage function when their car collided with an oil tanker.

As per initial reports, the deceased have been identified as Bantu Dogra, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, and Shubam Shrivastav, hailing from Uttar Pradesh.

KINS reported that Police and emergency teams rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies for medico-legal formalities. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the accident.

Authorities have once again urged commuters to exercise caution while driving, especially during night hours on the highway.(KINS)
