President Murmu extends Air Force day greetings, hails IAF’s role in safeguarding Nation

Srinagar, Oct 08 (KINS): President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday extended her warm greetings to all air warriors, veterans, and their families on the occasion of Air Force Day, lauding the Indian Air Force (IAF) for its unwavering commitment and exemplary service to the nation.

In her message on X as per news agency KINS, the President said the IAF has made the country proud with its strength, professionalism, and readiness to meet every challenge. “Our air warriors protect the skies and serve the nation with tireless dedication, not only in defence operations but also during disasters and humanitarian missions,” she wrote.

Air Force Day, celebrated every year on October 8, marks the anniversary of the establishment of the Indian Air Force in 1932.

 “Warm greetings to all air warriors, veterans and their families on Air Force Day! The Indian Air Force has always demonstrated courage, commitment, and excellence. Our Air warriors protect our skies and serve the nation with tireless dedication during disasters and humanitarian missions.

“Our Air Force has made the nation proud with its strength and readiness to face every challenge. I extend my best wishes to the Indian Air Force for success in all future endeavours,” the President said. (KINS)
