IPS Officer P.D. Nitya Relieved from J&K to Join Rajasthan Cadre Following Inter-Cadre Transfer

Srinagar, Oct 09 (KINS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued formal orders relieving P.D. Nitya, IPS (AGMUT:2016), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, from her duties in the Union Territory to join the Rajasthan Cadre following her inter-cadre transfer.

As per Government Order No. 483-Home of 2025, dated 08 October 2025, the decision was taken in pursuance of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) communication referenced in letter No. 14046/50/2024-UTS.I, dated 19 June 2025, and subsequent approval of the Competent Authority.

Accordingly, Nitya has been relieved from the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with effect from the afternoon of October 8, 2025, to enable her to take up her new assignment in the Rajasthan Cadre.

The order was issued under the authority of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and signed by Chandrakar Bharti, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department.(KINS)
