Dry weather expected across J&K from November 6 to 16: MeT

Srinagar, Nov 05 (KINS): After witnessing light to moderate rain and snowfall in higher reaches on Wednesday, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecasted a dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir between November 6 and 16.

According to the latest bulletin, November 5 remained generally dry, though a brief spell of light rain occurred at isolated places.

From tomorrow, the region is likely to experience stable and dry conditions till 16 November, providing a much-needed respite for residents and favourable conditions for farmers to continue their agricultural activities.

The forecast as per news agency Kashmir Indpeth News Service (KINS) further suggests that November 17–18 may see partly to generally cloudy skies, but no significant weather activity has been predicted.

The MET Centre has also issued an advisory indicating a fall in both maximum and minimum temperatures across several parts of the Union Territory and urged farmers to carry on with routine farm operations during the dry spell.(KINS)
