Srinagar, Nov 18 (KINS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), along with BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, held a series of day-long organizational meetings of Jammu, Jammu South, Jammu North, Jammu Border, and Akhnoor Districts at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The meetings were attended by J&K BJP General Secretary Sanjita Dogra, District Presidents Nand Kishore, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, Kuldeep Raj Sharma, and Rinku Choudhary; MLAs Sham Lal Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Arvind Gupta, Surinder Bhagat, Mohan Lal Bhagat, and Devyani Rana; Secretaries Reema Padha and Arun Sharma; besides senior leaders Ayodhya Gupta, Vinay Gupta, Rajinder Singh Chib, Brijeshwar Rana, Parduman Singh, Rajiv Sharma, and other district functionaries.
In his address, Sat Sharma emphasized strengthening organizational efforts through increased field work and meaningful public engagement. He said the BJP’s strength lies in its disciplined cadre, continuous outreach, and dedicated focus on addressing people’s concerns. He stressed ensuring regular Pravas (dedicated visits) of senior leaders to every mandal and booth. He also urged MLAs and district leaders to remain proactive, approachable, and responsive, fostering deeper connections with the community. Sharma directed all district units to intensify on-ground activities, enhance public interaction, and ensure that every programme reaches the last worker and every household.
Sat Sharma further urged party leaders to remain vigilant and not allow any elements attempting to create discord or hinder Jammu & Kashmir’s ongoing progress in peace, development, and empowerment. He reaffirmed the party’s steadfast commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a stable, prosperous, and harmonious Jammu & Kashmir.
Ashok Koul outlined the upcoming party programmes to be implemented at the grassroots, especially those designed to engage directly with citizens and strengthen the booth-level structure. He said a constructive review was conducted regarding ongoing initiatives like AtmaNirbhar Bharat, under which party leaders are expected to conduct door-to-door outreach and encourage citizens to support the local economy by purchasing local products. Koul also reviewed programmes being held as part of the 150 years of Vande Mataram and 150 years of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, urging all districts to observe these events with full participation at the booth level.
