Srinagar, Nov 20 (KINS): Newly elected Nagrota MLA Devyani Rana and Budgam MLA Muntazir Mehdi will take their oath of office tomorrow in Jammu.
Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather confirmed to news agency KINS that both the MLAs will take their oath of office tomorrow.
Both leaders recently secured notable wins in the Assembly by-elections — Devyani Rana clinched the Nagrota seat with a strong margin, while Mehdi registered a significant victory in Budgam.
Officials said that the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow in Jammu, where the new legislators are expected to officially assume their roles and begin their legislative duties.(KINS)
