J&K Police initiate inquiry into alleged irregularities at educational trust in Baramulla

Srinagar, Nov 25 (KINS): J&K Police have initiated a preliminary inquiry (PE) into the financial and operational activities of the Al Huda Educational Institute. The inquiry was registered under DDR No. 9 dated 24/11/2025 at Police Station Tangmarg following information about possible violations of regulatory and financial norms, as well as alleged encroachment on state land.

The inquiry focuses on suspected violations of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), potential tax evasion due to incomplete financial documentation and lack of required accreditation, and allegations that the institute’s infrastructure has been established on state land without due process.

Further investigation is underway, and appropriate legal action will follow based on the findings.(KINS)
