DGP Nalin Prabhat reviews security, ongoing operations during visit to Udhampur

Jammu, Dec 04 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday visited Udhampur district to assess the ground-level security situation and review ongoing operations in the mountainous region.

As part of his continued outreach to police and security personnel across hinterland and border belts, the DGP evaluated operational preparedness, anti-terror strategies, and coordination among forces deployed in sensitive areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

DGP Prabhat as per news agency Kashmir Indpeth News Service (KINS) was accompanied by IGP Jammu Zone Bhim Sen Tuti, IG CRPF Gopal Rao, SSP Udhampur Amod Nagpure, and senior officers of the CRPF and the Army during the visit.

The top police officer interacted with field units, reviewed recent security developments, and reaffirmed the commitment of J&K Police and security forces to maintaining peace and ensuring robust counter-terror operations across the region.

Officials said such visits are aimed at strengthening on-ground coordination and enhancing the effectiveness of security measures in vulnerable areas.(KINS)
