Mirwaiz Umar Farooq extends condolences on multiple bereavements

Srinagar, December 9 (KINS): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Muhammad Abdullah Bhat, father of journalist Rifat Abdullah Bhat of Badran Magam, Budgam.

The Mirwaiz paid tribute to the late Abdullah Bhat for his social services and respected role in the community, and conveyed condolences over phone to his sons, Basharat Ahmad and Rifat Abdullah. A delegation, on the Mirwaiz’s instructions, visited Badran Magam to offer condolences and recite Fatiha.

The Mirwaiz according to news agency KINS also expressed grief over the sudden demise of Masood Ahmad Khan, elder brother of long-time associate and editor-in-chief of Sada-e-Kahkashan, Muzaffar Ahmad Khan at Kathi Darwaza, Srinagar, offering condolences to his sons Sozeen Ahmad and Sahil Masood and to social activist Parvaiz Ahmad Shah.

The Mirwaiz further condoled with Pirzada Abdul Hameed of Mirza Kamil Hawal and social activist Manzoor Ahmad Qureshi on the passing of their family member, and expressed sorrow over the deaths of Haji Ghulam Rasool Khar, former mutawalli of Masjid Riyaz-us-Salihin, and Bashir Ahmad Qureshi of Saraf Kadal. He prayed for maghfirah and Jannat for all the departed. (KINS)
