Vibodh Gupta reaffirms Modi Govt’s commitment to tribal welfare; says tribal youth are the backbone of Viksit Bharat 2047

Jammu, Dec 10 (KINS): Senior BJP leader and former MLC Vibodh Gupta visited the Eklavya Model Residential School in Gurdan, Rajouri, where he interacted with students and highlighted the Modi government’s strong focus on tribal welfare and development.

Vibodh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the promotion of Swadeshi, saying these initiatives are bringing major improvements to tribal and border communities in Jammu & Kashmir. He said the government’s efforts in education, hostels, scholarships, and community facilities are changing the socio-economic conditions of tribal regions.

“Our tribal children are the real pillars of Viksit Bharat 2047,” Vibodh said. “The Modi government’s welfare schemes are creating new opportunities in education, skills, and livelihood. Encouraging Swadeshi entrepreneurship will help every tribal family become self-reliant.”

He stressed that Pahari, Gujjar-Bakerwal, and other tribal communities are central to India’s developmental journey and must actively participate in the nation’s growth.

Vibodh also urged tribal youth to take up skill training, vocational courses, and entrepreneurship, saying these will help them become self-reliant, create jobs within their own communities, and protect local culture while contributing to India’s economic growth.

DDC Member and Waqf Board Administrator Qyoom Mir said that tribal youth today are more confident and capable, thanks to the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes. He emphasized the need to strengthen these initiatives so young tribals can contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Pushpinder Gupta, Radish Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Tarun Kumar, and Yougesh Sharma also addressed the gathering, praising the government’s efforts to uplift marginalized communities. They noted that rapid development, along with new opportunities in MSMEs, skill training, and entrepreneurship, is helping tribal youth build a brighter future.(KINS)
