CM holds pre-budget consultations with legislators from South and North Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 24 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today continued the series of pre-Budget consultations and held detailed interactions with legislators from various constituencies of South and North Kashmir.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister listened to the issues, suggestions and development priorities raised by the legislators, focusing on local needs and region-specific concerns. The discussions covered key sectors including infrastructure, public services, employment and welfare measures.

The Chief Minister said that these consultations are an important part of the Budget-making process and will help in framing a Budget that truly reflects the aspirations of the people.

He added that inputs received from legislators will play a crucial role in ensuring balanced and inclusive development across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reiterating the government’s commitment, the Chief Minister said the forthcoming Budget will focus on equitable growth, regional balance and people-centric development to address the needs of every section of society.(KINS)
