Jammu,Feb 06 (KINS):The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is set to take up important financial business tomorrow, with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah scheduled to present the Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure for the year 2026-27.
According to the List of Business issued by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the House will convene at 10:00 am to begin proceedings with the Question Hour, during which members will raise issues of public importance and seek responses from the government.
Following the Question Hour, the Chief Minister will present the Budget for 2026-27 and deliver his budget speech, outlining the government’s financial priorities, development agenda, and expenditure plans for the coming year.
In addition, Omar Abdullah will also table the Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for the year 2025-26, detailing additional spending requirements for the ongoing financial year.(KINS)
