Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan Police cracks sown on drug network; Property of NDPS accused demolished in Kulgam

Kulgam, May 14 (KINS): In a major action against drug-related activities, Police in Kulgam, along with the district administration, demolished three illegally constructed shops belonging to an NDPS accused, Jahangeer Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohd Ismail Bhat, a resident of Chinigam Frisal, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Yaripora.
The action was carried out after following all legal formalities. The demolished structures were reportedly linked to the accused, who is involved in narcotics-related offences, as part of the ongoing drive against drug peddlers and their support networks.
Police said it has intensified its campaign against the drug menace and is continuing firm action against individuals involved in narcotics trafficking, with the aim of safeguarding society and protecting the youth from the harmful effects of drugs.
People have been urged to come forward with any information related to drug peddling or substance abuse so that strict legal action can be taken against the offenders.(KINS)
