LG Manoj Sinha reviews preparations for Amarnath Yatra, Directs timely completion of arrangements
Srinagar, June 10 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess preparations for the forthcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026. During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor directed all concerned departments and security agencies to ensure the timely completion of arrangements for the pilgrimage.
He emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to strengthen infrastructure, security, healthcare facilities, sanitation, connectivity, and pilgrim services to facilitate a safe, smooth, and hassle-free Yatra. Senior officials from various departments participated in the meeting and reviewed preparedness measures across all key sectors. The Lieutenant Governor reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing the best possible facilities and ensuring the successful conduct of the annual pilgrimage.(KINS)
