Srinagar, August 19 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday undertook an extensive tour of Srinagar city to inspect ongoing development projects, assess public facilities and review the progress of key civic works aimed at improving urban infrastructure and public services.
During the tour, the Chief Minister inspected the site of the proposed bridge at Barbar Shah and took stock of the plans for the project.
The proposed bridge is expected to play an important role in easing traffic congestion for commuters travelling towards Shehar-e-Khaas. Once completed, it will provide smoother connectivity, reduce pressure on existing roads and improve overall urban mobility in the area.
The Chief Minister also reviewed various ongoing development works and public facilities during his city tour and stressed the importance of timely completion of projects aimed at improving the quality of civic services for residents.(KINS)
