Srinagar, Sep 27 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir is expected to experience generally dry weather over the coming days, according to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.
On September 27, the weather is expected to remain generally dry. On September 28, generally dry conditions are likely, with a brief spell of light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds possible in a few districts during the afternoon.
Weather is expected to remain generally dry on September 29-30 and October 1-3.
From October 4-6, partly to generally cloudy weather is likely, with light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds possible at a few places.
Generally dry weather is forecast for October 7-8, while partly to generally cloudy conditions with chances of light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds are expected at a few places on October 9-10.
Advisory
The weather conditions are considered favourable for apple and paddy harvesting and other agricultural activities. Farmers are advised to ensure the safe storage of harvested crops, particularly during the afternoon of September 28.
