Police Conducts School Kit Distribution Drive for Needy Students in Awantipora

Srinagar Mar 29: As part of its Civic Action Programme, the police in Awantipora have undertaken the distribution of school kits to 100 needy students across Subdivision Tral.
The school kits, comprising shoes, uppers, and shirts, were distributed among students at various Government Upper Primary Schools, including Dodkulan, Nagpathri, Zisbal, Satoora, Nagbal, Gulshanpora, Shojan, Darganiegund, Hajinad, and Primary School Narigistan. Present during the distribution were SDPO Tral, Shri Suhail Reshi, DySP DAR, Shri Abdul Gafoor, along with other officers.
During interactions with the students, the officers emphasized the importance of education in empowering individuals and fostering dignity, self-respect, and confidence. They reassured the students of ongoing support and encouraged them to focus on their studies and engage in extracurricular activities.
Community members, particularly the parents of the students, expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by the police, underscoring the positive impact of such initiatives on the education and well-being of the students.
