ADGP Jammu Reviews Security Measures for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2024

Jammu, June 22, 2024: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain, conducted a comprehensive review of the security arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2024 at several critical locations, including Jawahar Tunnel, Lamber Banihal, Chanderkot, Ramban, and Ramsoo. Jain emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and smooth passage of pilgrims.
During the review, ADGP Jain provided on-the-spot directions to enhance vigilance and improve coordination among security personnel. The inspections are part of a broader strategy to maintain order and address any potential security concerns during the Yatra, which sees thousands of pilgrims undertaking the sacred journey.
Authorities are working diligently to ensure that all necessary measures are in place to protect the devotees and facilitate an uninterrupted pilgrimage experience.
