Srinagar, Aug 23 (KINS): Senior BJP leader and former Minister Priya Sethi launched a fierce critique of political parties engaging in freebie politics to manipulate voters. She condemned the practice of distributing unearned rewards, likening it to a termite eroding the nation’s foundations.
Sethi accused regional parties, including the National Conference (NC), of neglecting the upliftment of women and marginalized groups during their decades-long rule in Jammu and Kashmir. She argued that these parties now resort to last-minute giveaways to win voter favor ahead of elections.
In contrast, she praised the Modi government’s transformative impact on the region, emphasizing its success in restoring normalcy and driving development in Jammu and Kashmir. Sethi urged voters to reject short-sighted tactics and support the BJP, which she claimed offers real change and a brighter future for the region.(KINS)
