J&K Police prepared to face challenges, says ADGP Anand Jain following Ganderbal terror attack

Srinagar , Oct 21 : In the wake of the tragic Ganderbal terror attack, Anand Jain, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu Zone, affirmed that the Jammu and Kashmir Police is “ready to face any difficulty with full strength.” This statement comes in response to the recent incident where a doctor and six laborers lost their lives when terrorists targeted a tunnel construction site along the Srinagar-Leh national highway in Ganderbal district on Sunday.

The attack has raised significant concerns about security in the region, particularly in light of the ongoing challenges faced by the local workforce and the safety of civilian lives. ADGP Jain’s remarks underscore the commitment of the police force to address threats and maintain order, assuring the public that law enforcement agencies are prepared to respond decisively to any acts of violence.

As investigations into the attack continue, authorities are working to enhance security measures in vulnerable areas, ensuring that such tragic incidents do not recur. The loss of innocent lives in the Ganderbal attack has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for accountability, highlighting the urgent need for effective strategies to combat terrorism in the region.
