Sakina Itoo expresses dissatisfaction over GMC Jammu’s functioning

Srinagar, Dec 28 (KINS): Health Minister Sakina Itoo on Saturday expressed her dissatisfaction over the functioning of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu during a surprise visit.
The minister said there was a lack of hygiene at the hospital. “The hospital is not properly cleaned. Even those visiting here can fall ill. Who will get proper treatment and care here?” she said, according to news agency KINS.
During her inspection, she observed the absence of some doctors and assured strict action against them. “The government will not tolerate such negligence,” she said.
She urged the hospital administration to take immediate measures to improve cleanliness and ensure the availability of medical staff to provide proper care to patients. (KINS)
