CM lays foundation stone for 124 crore water supply project in Udhampur

Udhampur, Aug 07: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today laid the foundation stone for the Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme in Udhampur, a ₹124.19-crore project to be executed under AMRUT 2.0.
The project aims to address the long-standing drinking water requirements of the area by ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply, while improving public health and the overall quality of life of residents.
The Chief Minister also virtually laid the foundation stone for the ₹16.33-crore Used Water Management Project in Reasi, which includes a 3.0 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant.
Minister for Jal Shakti Javed Rana, MLA Udhampur West Pawan Kumar Gupta and MLA Reasi Kuldeep Raj Dubey were present on the occasion.(KINS)
