Home Minister Amit Shah orders inter-ministerial team to investigate deaths in Rajouri District

Srinagar, Jan 18 (KINS): Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, has directed the formation of an Inter-Ministerial Team, led by the Ministry of Home Affairs, to investigate the causes behind three tragic incidents that resulted in multiple deaths over the past six weeks in Jammu’s Rajouri district.
The team will comprise experts from the Ministries of Health and Family Welfare, Agriculture, Chemicals and Fertilizers, and Water Resources. Specialists in animal husbandry, food safety, and forensic science will also provide critical support to the investigation.
Scheduled to begin its work on January 19, the team will collaborate with the local administration to offer immediate relief to affected families and implement precautionary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
Experts from some of India’s most respected institutions have been mobilized to manage the situation and thoroughly analyze the factors contributing to the fatalities.(KINS)
