Srinagar, March 13 (KINS): Authorities have ordered the closure of all schools in Gurez Subdivision until March 15 due to heavy snowfall and the looming threat of avalanches.

The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Gurez issued the directive, citing adverse weather conditions that could disrupt the movement of students and staff, posing significant safety risks.

“In view of the prevailing weather conditions and safety concerns, all schools in Gurez Subdivision shall remain closed until March 15, 2025,” the official order stated.

School heads have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the directive.(KINS)
