J&K Govt hikes DA for employees, pensioners under 6th Pay Commission to 246%

Jammu, March 13 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees and pensioners under the 6th Pay Commission from 239% to 246% of basic pay and pension.

According to an order issued by the Finance Department, the revised DA will be effective from July 1, 2024. The arrears for the additional installment from July 2024 to February 2025 will be disbursed in cash in March 2025 and included in subsequent monthly salaries and pensions.

“The payment will be rounded off to the next higher rupee where applicable,” the order stated.(KINS)
