Senior trade union leaders form Municipal Employees Association at SMC
SRINAGAR, April 12 (KINS): In a significant development, senior trade union leaders of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) have unanimously announced the formation of the Municipal Employees Association. The decision was taken collectively to represent and address the concerns of municipal employees more effectively.
Nazir Ahmed Ahangar, Section Officer, has been unanimously elected as the President of the newly-formed Association, while Fayyaz Ahmed Mir has been appointed as the Chairman.
The detailed action plan and future roadmap of the Association will be shared in the coming days.
