Srinagar, Oct 09 (KINS): The Special Crime Wing Srinagar (Crime Branch Kashmir) is conducting searches at multiple locations in Awantipora and Kulgam in connection with the investigation of two cases — FIR No. 06/2025 under Sections 420, 468, 471 IPC and FIR No. 07/2025 under Sections 420, 468, 471 RPC. Both cases pertain to allegations of job fraud and cheating by the accused persons.
In a statement issued to news agency KINS, the ongoing searches as per are being carried out at the residential premises of Shakeel Ahmad Makroo, resident of Awantipora, Pulwama, and Farooq Ahmad Thokar, resident of Sehpora, District Kulgam.
“The operations are being conducted under search warrants issued by the competent court, in the presence of Executive Magistrates and with assistance from the local police”.(KINS)
