Nagrota, Nov 14 (KINS): Devyani Rana of the Bharatiya Janata Party secured a commanding win in the Nagrota Assembly by-election, as the Election Commission of India declared the final results on Friday.
Rana amassed 42,183 votes, decisively defeating Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party leader Harsh Dev Singh, who secured 17,661 votes.
National Conference candidate Shamim Begum trailed with 10,834 votes, while independent contender Anil Sharma received 837 votes, as per ECI figures.(KINS)
