Srinagar, Apr 22 (KINS): On the first anniversary of the terror attack in Pahalgam, Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tributes to those killed and reaffirmed the country’s resolve against terrorism.
Remembering the victims, the Vice-President said the innocent lives lost in the attack remain etched in the nation’s collective memory and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan as per news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) tweets, “I solemnly remember the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. The innocent lives lost in that gruesome and dastardly act of terror remain etched in our collective memory. I pay heartfelt tributes to those we lost and stand in solidarity with their families, whose grief is immeasurable. They will forever be remembered. Such acts of brutality can never shake our resolve to uphold peace, unity, and the enduring values of humanity. We remain firm in our determination to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations”
In a separate message, Amit Shah said the pain of losing innocent lives in the attack continues to be felt by every Indian and stressed that terrorism remains the greatest enemy of humanity.
Home minister Amit Shah wrote, “On this day, we solemnly remember the innocent lives we lost in the horrific Pahalgam terror attack last year. The grief and pain of losing our people still remain in the heart of every Indian. Terrorism is the greatest enemy of humanity, against which we must stand united to fight and defeat. India will continue its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and those who harbour it.”(KINS)
