Relief for protesting athletes: Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma assures fair hearing

Srinagar, July 19 (KINS): Providing relief to the protesting athletes, Cabinet Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma, on Sunday assured that every athlete’s concerns would be heard with empathy and addressed in a fair and transparent manner.
Referring to athlete Bhanu, the Minister said, “Bhanu is our own child. We value his contribution to sports and will not let him quit. His grievances, along with those of other athletes, will be examined and resolved through appropriate measures.”
Reiterating the government’s commitment to the welfare of sportspersons, Sharma said athletes are the backbone of Jammu and Kashmir’s sporting ecosystem. He assured that constructive dialogue would continue to ensure genuine concerns are addressed while safeguarding the interests of all athletes.(KINS)
