Sunil Sharma condemns Kulgam terror attack

Srinagar, July 31: Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, on Friday condemned the terrorist attack in Kulgam district in which a labourer from Chhattisgarh was killed and another was injured.
Calling the attack “cowardly and barbaric,” Sharma said targeting innocent civilians and labourers is an attack on humanity and an attempt to disturb peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said those responsible for the attack must be identified and brought to justice at the earliest.
Sharma expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured labourer.
He urged security forces to intensify anti-terror operations and take strict action against those involved. He also appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain united against terrorism and maintain peace and communal harmony.
“The entire nation stands with the victim’s family in this difficult time. We have full confidence that our security forces will take decisive action against those responsible,” Sharma said.(KINS)
