Bandipora, Sep 27 (KINS): Bandipora Police have traced a 17-year-old boy from Assam who had been reported missing from his native village and facilitated his safe reunion with his family.
The boy, identified as Gyandeep Rabha, son of late Prasanta Rabha and a resident of Jogdaba in Assam’s Kamrup district, was traced within the jurisdiction of Police Station Bandipora after police received information about his whereabouts.
A team from Police Station Bandipora, led by SI Himayat, launched sustained efforts to locate the teenager and ensure his safe return. During the process, the police team also helped recover wages reportedly due to the boy for his work. The amount was subsequently transferred to the bank account of his uncle, safeguarding his financial interests.
After completing the necessary formalities, Gyandeep was handed over safely to his legal heirs in the presence of a police team from Police Station Boko, District Kamrup, Assam.(KINS)
