Dead newborn covered with dust found outside health facility in south Kashmir’s Tral

The body of a newborn covered with dust was recovered outside Sub District Hospital Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

The lifeless female baby was found near the main entrance of SDH Tral. The baby covered with dust was found by the locals.

After hue and cry by the locals a woman belonging to Bathnoor area of Tral claimed the dead baby.

“My daughter was seven months pregnant who fell down and got injured. We took her to the hospital where her baby died,” said the woman.

“We were planning to bury the baby today,” she claimed.
