Srinagar, May 20 : United Jihad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahuddin has paid tributes to late Mirwaiz Moulana Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone on their anniversaries and said the “secret agents of enemies martyred them”.
“These leaders by sacrificing their lives made it clear to the enemies that freedom is the only solution to Kashmir issue,” UJC spokesperson Syed Sadaqat Hussain in a statement issued to GNS quoted Syed Salahuddin as saying.
“The blood of martyrs never goes waste,” Syed Salahuddin, who is also the chief of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, said.
He hailed the contribution of the Mirwaiz family towards the movement and Islam.
Syed Salahuddin prayed for highest places in Jannah for Mirwaiz Moulana Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone.
