Shopian Encounter: Two more militant bodies recovered from encounter site, toll reaches 4 operation over

Srinagar, June 23:Two more militant bodies have been recovered from encounter site taking toll to four after a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Daramdora area of Keegam in South Kashmir’s Shopian District on Sunday morning.

A senior Police officer told that two more militant bodies have been recovered from the encounter site taking death toll to four.

The officer further said that the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier gunfight broke out in orchards of Daramdora area of Shopian and initially two militant bodies were recovered from the encounter site.(GNS)
