Coronavirus Scare : Admin in Rajouri orders shutdown of public institutions

Amid growing scare of coronavirus District administration Rajouri on Monday ordered shutdown of all public institutions and busy market establishments including Malls, Saloons, Gyms, Dhabas etc.

In an order copy which lies with Kashmir Indepth reads whereas situation a situation has arisen due to outbreak/ spread of coronavirus COVID-19 in many countries including India and people with travel history to countries infected with virus are screened and quarantined at different level in the district.

Whereas COVID-19 has a pattern of rapid transmission in case prescribed preventive measures and laid down standard protocols like avoiding mass gathering, assembly and visiting crowded places etc are not followed.

Therefore inview of the facts mentioned herein above and exercise of powers vested in me under section 144 cr. PC, 1 hereby issue the following directions to be complied by the concerned , towards mitigating the transmission of COVID-19 in Rajouri District.

With this Ban on organising Bhandaras, Langars, religious institutions with mass gathering imposed.

Govt authorities to strictly implement the order.
