Cement Factories allowed to work in Kashmir: Div Com

Srinagar, Apr 29, : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K.Pole Wednesday said the Cement Factories operating in Kashmir can function normally. He was responding to a question during a press conference here in Kashmir capital Srinagar today.

Earlier, a section of media reported that Cement Factories are working in Valley in violation of Government advisory. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K. Pole said that these factories can work provided they adopted all safety measures to contain Covid-19 infection.

“Labourers are here. They want to work. Where they will go in absence of any work. These Factories can resume their work and they are allowed to work,” he said adding that administration has taken all the measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus. (KNT)
