Baramulla, May 05: Continuing its efforts to scale up anti-corana activities, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today issued strict warning to all those who are reluctant to use face masks as a precautionary measure to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infection.
In an order issued from the DC office, Dr Itoo has appealed the people to adopt all the preventive measures especially wearing face masks and said that strict legal action shall be initiated against the violators which can be fine and imprisonment. The order also enjoined upon all the concerned controlling officers and their staff members to attend the offices with full protective gears.
Moreover, various executive magistrates and flying squads have been nominated/constituted to monitor whether masks are being used by the people and take appropriate legal action against the violators.
