Lineman electrocuted to death in Sopore

Sopore, July 20(KINS) : In a freak accident, a repairman was electrocuted to death in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Monday morning.

Reports reaching KINS said a 40-year-old PDD lineman identified as Sonaullah Dar of Seelu was electrocuted while repairing an electrical supply line at Yaseen colony in Arampora Sopore.

Reports said during the course of repair work he came in contact with live wire and fell unconscious on ground, however he was rushed to sub district hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

A police officer said that a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.(KINS)
